305. Notice of Compliance with Civil Law 1557

NPSLT is happy to welcome families and patients of all race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. This facility is ADA-compliant and has available, as needed and/or requested, telephonic, video, and in-person interpreters for any and all families who require such accommodations. NPSLP does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability in its health programs and activities.


Interpreting and TTY services are provided, free of charge, to the patient whenever requested. Families can request such accommodations verbally, in person or over the phone, in writing via email, and in writing via the online contact submission form. These services can also be requested by other health care professionals such as referring NP’s, RN’s, MD’s, case managers, etc. in any of the previously listed manners.

Translated documents will be available, free of charge, to any family who requests such document. This notice as well as all mandatory facility paperwork will be available upon request, at the front desk, in the 15 most common languages spoken in the state of Georgia

If any of these policies are not carried out in a timely and satisfactory manner, you may file a grievance with the appointed Language Access Compliance Officer, Natalie Sanchez. Grievances may be placed using the company’s Grievance Form which will be made available on the website under “Forms” as well as at the front desk. Grievances can be made at any time and will be handled in a timely and respectful manner. A survey will be sent after the grievance has been dealt with in order to identify whether or not the company has solved the issue in an acceptable manner. Grievances may be made for any family speaking one of the following languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Korean, Italian, Chinese, Tagalog, Arabic, Russian, Vietnamese, Japanese, Greek, Persian, and Portuguese.
