Making Progress - New Cartersville Clinic

Things are well underway with the construction work for the new Cartersville location. Here are a few behind the scenes pics of the space.

On The Move!

We are moving… Yes, we are excited to announce our Cartersville location will be moving to a new building shortly. Around Sept. 1st we hope to be in our new building which will be located at 958 Joe Frank Harris Pkwy in Cartersville, next to the Cartersville Medical Center.

Our new location will provide more space for our therapy rooms as well as an amazing open area for a new sensory room. Parking will be ample and easily accessible and our waiting room will be spacious.

Be on the lookout for new posts as we begin our build out for this amazing new location!

First Week At The New Clinic

We had our grand opening Tue. Nov 24th with a wonderful turnout. Thanks to everyone who came. It was amazing to see friends, families and new faces!

Finishing our first full week at the new location and it was amazing to see everyones reaction as they came in for services, seeing what was done with the building. We look forward to meeting everyone, please come in and say hi and please let us know how we can help.

Progress On New Clinic

Lots of progress is being made on the new clinic. Fingers crossed things stay on track and we are able to open this location in a few weeks, around mid Nov. 2020. We are very excited this location will have 6 therapy rooms with additional space to grow as needed. Here are a few quick shots of the process being made. We look forward to opening our doors shortly. More to come on the ribbon cutting.

New Clinic Location - Acworth GA

We have wonderful news for our community! We are in the process of opening a new location in Acworth, GA.

The building will be at 2151 Cedarcrest Road Acworth, GA 30101. This will be the second location for North Paulding Speech Language Therapy. This location will support additional therapy rooms once we are done with the construction, but should be finished by mid-November (fingers crossed!!).

Intake forms and clinical services agreement are at the bottom of the The website, http://www.northpauldingslp.com  We are in network with almost all commercial insurance companies (Anthem, Aetna, United Healthcare, UMR), Medicaid and CMOs of Medicaid which are Wellcare, Peachstate, Caresource and Amerigroup. We are working on Medicare which will allow us to serve adults who need us.

COVID-19 Status

People always say things move fast, in todays current environment with things that is an understatement. As of March 16, 2020, our physical offices are closed due to Coronavirus. We are pleased to be able to continue serving our clients through tele-health options. We have been holding tele-health services for a number of weeks now, and while there had been some glitches early on, everyone has been very patient with us, and there have been some amazing sessions! Parents have really enjoyed the 1on1 development, and have appreciated the ability to be present as their little one interacts with our wonderful therapists!

We are planning to reintroduce some clinic/in-home speech , and will be incorporating some very strict policies/screenings to ensure we keep our therapists and clients as safe as possible. 

We do continue to battle insurance companies for coverage of speech provided through tele-health. If you find your insurance is denying claims, please assist us in calling the representatives and telling them it is unacceptable during this times! Rest assured we are writing officials, insurance reps, and anyone we can to advocate for coverage.

We have been asked if we are taking new clients at this time, and the answer is YES! Don't hesitate to give us a call.
